Due to the recent events around SNAP funding, and we want to reassure you that we are prepared, and you will continue to receive the food and support needed to serve your community.
While we anticipate a possible increase in visits, we are not running out of food. To ensure stability, we are proactively purchasing shelf-stable goods, proteins, and produce to offset any reduction in government commodities.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and use data to guide contingency plans across our service area. As needs shift, we may reach out to discuss additional ways to support you, such as:
- Partnering with nearby agencies
- Adding distribution dates or shopping days
- Increasing warehouse pickups
- Promoting azfoodhelp.org to connect neighbors with resources
