Kroger Giving Back

Cohort to Improve the School Food System

Application Deadline: December 13, 2024

Applicants should propose innovative and collaborative approaches that reimagine the school food system and that could be sustained and scaled elsewhere. We encourage applicants to think creatively about transformational partnerships and projects, particularly those that bring new industry into the school food supply chain.

Grant Opportunities Range in Funding & Application Deadlines

Founded in 1980, First Nations began its national grantmaking program in 1993 and through year-end 2023, they have successfully managed 3,385 grants totaling $79.9 million to Native American projects and organizations in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. Territory American Samoa. Their grantmaking program provides both financial and technical resources to tribes and Native nonprofit organizations to support asset-based development efforts.
