Direct Certification Improvement Grant

Application Deadline: July 29, 2024

The USDA Food and Nutrition Service invites state agencies that administer the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) to apply for Direct Certification Improvement Grants to fund the costs of improving their direct certification rates with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other assistance programs, as allowed under Federal statute and regulations.

Clif Family Foundation Operational Grants

Application Deadline: August 1, 2024 *application closes at 11:59pm PST*

The Clif Family Foundation has grants available for organizations working on strengthening the local food system, improving community health outcomes, and/or protecting the environment. Grants are awarded to support daily operating costs. Make sure to apply by August 1st!

Bashas’ Purposeful Giving

Bashas’ proudly supports causes that make significant impacts in our communities and align with one or more of our Purposeful Giving pillars, including Advocating for Good, Child Welfare, Environment & Sustainability, Food Access, Food System Education, and Total Wellness. Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) Pilot Project

Application Deadline: September 4, 2024 *application closes at 11:59pm EST*

The goals and objectives of this program are food waste reduction objectives, reduce municipal food and waste, generate compost, divert residential and commercial food waste from landfills, improve soil quality, and more. Open to Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), county governments, independent school districts, and more. Apply now!
